Hello everyone, sorry it's been so long since I've posted anything! It's been a little hectic!
This cake is just enough to feed about 12 people and was for a "work" bridal shower for a Bride named Anna who is getting married at a Winery!

When my grandparents, Victor and Jean Arnold had been married for 50 years and we threw a big party for them, I thought, wow! 50 years of marriage is a HUGE accomplishment!! This past April, my grandparents celebrated their 60th!! Throughout the past 60 years they have raised 3 daughters who have brought them 3 son-in-laws. Each daughter brought them 1 granddaughter, and 1 grandson for now a total of 6. 3 of those grandchildren have each brought them 2 great-grandchildren for a total of 6. In the past 2 years we have 2 new brides who will soon (hopefully) bless them with some more great-grandchildren! My grandparents have lived in the same small town of Missouri since before they were even married.
They watched out the front window of their home as Hwy 55 went in Imperial. All 3 of their daughters attended and graduated from Windsor. Grandpa built many subdivisions and homes throughout Jefferson County while Grandma stayed home and raised the girls and ran the household and helped with the construction company.
60 years. Alot of change. Alot of growth. They are the perfect example of what a marriage and a family should be.
I am so very proud of them and love them with all my heart. We had a small surprise celebration in their home with their closest friends and family.
I, along with the 2 other granddaughters, Jamie and Nicole, had the honor of popping the champagne. I did warn everyone to take cover as I had never done this before!!
Aunt Donna did an excellent job, as usual, with her toast! There were few dry eyes!
I just love this pic of Grandpa with Greg Hensley. They were construction buddies and neighbors on Lake of the Ozarks. You know they are reminiscing about "the good ol' days"!
Definitely a day worth Celebrating! Love you both!

Wedding Gown Cake
is on display at TBC Venue. This is actually a 3-tier "fake cake". However, the way that it is displayed, the top tier (bodice) is what the bride and groom can save for their first anniversary. The bottom 2 tiers as shown would feed approximately 75 people. Of course, it can be made to accommodate how ever many servings you need!
